Author Presentation Instructions
Oral Paper Presentation Details:
The paper sessions have been finalized, and all accepted papers have been assigned a speaking time slot. Please visit the KDD program website to view the final schedule.
- Each author receives 15 minutes for their presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A – 20 minutes in total
- Each session room will be set similarly with a lectern and head table in the front of the room and equipped with a screen, projector and HDMI connection for laptops. Please bring an adapter if needed.
- In alignment with KDD’s approach to an in-person conference, meeting rooms are NOT equipped to handle online presentations.
- For presentations that require audio, a direct line will be available that plugs directly into your computer’s audio port.
- Presenters must bring their own laptop to present. Laptops will not be provided.
- There is no requirement to use a specific PowerPoint template to present; however, one is provided below if you would like to use it.

- Wireless Internet access will be available in each session room; however, we do not recommend embedding items in your presentation that require internet access. To ensure a smooth transition from one presentation to the next, we highly encourage all presenters to embed any videos directly into their presentation.
- There will be a Session Chair and a Student Volunteer in every session room in case you need any assistance.
Poster Presentation Details:
Pre-Event Poster Printing
EDCOM will facilitate fabric pre event only poster printing. Posters will be available for pickup at the ICC Jeju before your presentation.
Please note: printing onsite is NOT an option and any printing services needed must be ordered and arranged by the deadline.
Poster Printing Details

- Submission Deadline: August 4th. Late submissions and onsite orders cannot be accepted.
- Pickup Location: Near Registration in the ICC Jeju 3F Foyer.
- Pickup Times:
- August 9: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- August 10: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
SCHEDULE
- Posters will be presented at one of the following poster receptions:
- Monday, August 10th, 2026 – 6:45 PM – 8:30 PM
- Tuesday, August 11th, 2026 – 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
SPECIAL DAY/WORKSHOP POSTERS:

- Each board is Vertical oriented; 965mm x 1,698mm( 3.16) x 5.5 ft
- Each face of the board will fit (1) posters; (2) posters total per board.
- Each paper will have 3 ft wide by 3.5ft tall space for their poster.
- Authors can decide on the size and design their poster, as they see fit (landscape or vertical), as long as it fits within that space.
- KDD will provide push pins for each board.
- The boards will be labeled for each Special Day/Workshop for attendees to easily locate.
SPECIAL DAY/WORKSHOP SETUP/TEARDOWN
- All poster sessions will be held in ICC 1 – 3F between Halla and Samda Hall
- After the workshop/special day ends, presenters should remove their posters. Any posters left in the ICC may be discarded.
ICC 2 SPECIFICATIONS (Main Poster Receptions)

- Each board is landscape-oriented; 2380mm x 950mm (7.8ft x 3.11ft)
- Each face of the board will fit (2) posters; (4) posters total per board.
- Each paper will have 3.5 ft wide by 3ft tall space for their poster.
- Authors can decide on the size and design their poster, as they see fit (landscape or vertical), as long as it fits within that space.
- KDD will provide tape for each board.
- Typically the boards are numbered 1- 350 for attendees to easily locate.
ICC 2 SETUP/TEARDOWN
- All poster sessions will be held in ICC 2
- For the Monday and Tuesday poster session days, authors should set up their posters between 3 pm to 5 pm.
- After the poster session ends, presenters should remove their posters. Any posters left in the ICC2 may be discarded.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)
- When is the deadline for preparing posters?
- There is no deadline. Just make sure to present your poster during the corresponding session of your poster.
- There are NO poster printing facilities at the ICC, all posters must be printed in advance.
- What is the expected size of my poster?
- The main constraint of your posters is that they should fit within the above listed board size. In other words, there are no constraints in terms of the orientation and size of the poster as long as it fits within the assigned area on the poster board.
- Can we pin our poster to the board?
- Yes. KDD will provide you with pushpins or tape to mount the poster.
- How can we locate our poster board?
- We will number each board and assign a board number to every paper. You can find the information on the KDD website once it’s published.
- Will KDD provide a sample poster template (.ppt file) to use?
- No. We will not provide any template. You are free to use your own.
