Statement from SIGKDD on the OpenReview Data Breach

On Nov 27, 2025 OpenReview was alerted to a software bug that leaked the names of authors, reviewers, and area chairs; the statement issued by the OpenReview Team is available here.  While the bug has since been fixed, it has impacted all conferences hosted on OpenReview, including KDD since 2024. 

Any use, exploitation, or sharing of the leaked information (whether before or after this statement), doxxing, harassment, or any form of retaliation (whether online or in person), is a violation of the ACM/SIGKDD code of conduct, and will immediately result in multi-year bans from all SIGKDD-sponsored conferences.
